Cake Size and Portions

How much Cake you need is determined by the number of guests at your Celebrations and the portion size to be served.
A dessert size or generous size would be described as a 2" x 1" and a finger size or coffee portion as a 1" x 1" . We understand that it can be difficult to picture the portion size so we have provided a picture of our Biscuit Cake to help. As you can see a 2" x 1" slice of this cake is quite substantial.
All portion sizes below are only a guide. It varies considerable depending on the flavour of the cake. For example you may want more/larger portions if a Fresh Cream Cake is what you would like for your celebration compared to a Fruit Cake.
